Summer Course 2026: The Amsterdam Intensive

Immerse yourself in three weeks of dedicated sculpting in the heart of Amsterdam.

This intensive program combines rigorous studio work with the rich artistic inspiration of the city. Beyond the studio, your experience includes curated museum visits and onsite drawing sessions during the weekends to deepen your observational skills.

What to Expect:

  • Three Weeks of Sculpting: Focused, high-level instruction from life models.
    Long portrait pose (full size), long figure pose (1:2-size) and small figure clay sketching reclining poses.

  • Optional 4th week: professional documentation mold making / scanning.

    Documentation included at the end of the Summer course .

What we offer

An Intensive Learning Environment 
Experience 90 hours of high-level instruction within a strictly limited setting of just 12 students. Each day, your development is guided by two master instructors and an assistant, ensuring you receive the constant, personalized feedback necessary to make significant technical leaps in a short period.

Rigorous Curriculum & Specialized Tools 
The program is built around intensive life model sessions, supported by short lectures and constructive group critiques. To ensure you can focus entirely on your craft, we provide a specialized sculpture kit for every participant, including both a portrait armature and a small-size clay sketching armature.

Cultural Inspiration & Community 
Celebrate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary by connecting with the city’s artistic heritage through weekend sketching tours and museum visits. Beyond the studio work, our end-of-the-week aperitivos provide a relaxed space to connect with fellow artists and instructors, fostering a vibrant, supportive community.
