What we offer
At Figura Academy, we recognize the significance of theoretical knowledge in figurative art. In the Anatomy Lectures you will learn the skeletal structure and the major muscle groups and their function, while analyzing the body's planes, curves, and angles for accurate representation.
This course will give you a solid understanding of the human body which enhances your ability to create realistic and expressive works.
The Anatomy Lectures are part of our Complete Sculpture Program, a part-time, two-year program that covers all the essential aspects of figurative sculpture.
As a natural follow-up to the Anatomy Lectures, we offer an exclusive Anatomy Masterclass where students can put their theoretical knowledge into practice, by building their own écorché figure, refining their skills under the guidance of accomplished artists and further elevating their figurative artwork.

*Applicants who sign up for the anatomy masterclass series before September 15th get free access to the lectures. Lecture participants can decide to sign up for the Écorché Masterclass series in addition to the lectures till November 3rd. They will receive a 150 euro discount on their course fee.

Classical studies are like a building block, a good base. I think you should be able to be correct. Once you know the rules of anatomy you can break them, and go beyond.. But you can break rules only if you know them.
